Irving & Casson Co., Boston-Early Girandole Banjo Clock:
$1750.00

Great Girandole banjo from about 1910. Sold by Irving & Casson, Boston- high end designers and retail store. Heavily gilded case in very good condition. Lower convex ,reverse painted glass great. Throat glass also reverse painted and in great condition. Original weight & pendulum I believe. Movement is unmarked but very much like a Chelsea as used by Stennes and Campos. Beautiful ribbon stripe mahogany case. Overall 46" high and 14 1/2" wide at bottom. Will ship with weight and pendulum separate. You will need to remove dial and throat piece to reassemble. Clock ran for over a hour on wall but service suggested- sold as is.
