Handmade Hide Drum 10” Bentwood Folk Art Native American Style Animal Pelt

Unique handcrafted drum featuring real animal hide with fur retained on both drum heads, a bentwood shell, hand-painted geometric decoration, laced construction, and woven carrying strap. Measures approximately 10 inches in diameter and 7 inches tall.

This drum appears to be handmade and is in excellent vintage condition. The hide is intact with no tears noted, the lacing remains secure, and the painted decoration is well preserved. The drum displays beautifully and would make an excellent addition to a folk art, Southwestern, rustic cabin, or musical instrument collection.
