ABBA – Watch That Scene! Live At The Wembley Arena is a 2025 vinyl release capturing the legendary Swedish pop group at the peak of their powers during their 1979 world tour. This limited edition LP presents a full concert performance recorded for FM broadcast, offering a rare opportunity to hear ABBA in a live setting without the studio polish that defined their hits .

🎬 Album Highlights

The 1979 World Tour Peak: Recorded at Wembley Arena in London on November 10, 1979, during the European leg of \"ABBA: The Tour\" - their final major world tour before the group\'s gradual dissolution .
FM Broadcast Source: The recording originates from a BBC radio Christmas 1979 broadcast, giving it a clean, professionally mixed sound that captures the band\'s live energy .
Historic Wembley Residency: ABBA performed six consecutive sold-out nights at Wembley Arena during this tour, a testament to their enormous popularity in the UK .
Full Setlist of Hits: Twelve tracks spanning their career, from the disco-infused \"Voulez-Vous\" to the Eurovision breakthrough \"Waterloo,\" plus fan favorites like \"Chiquitita\" and \"Thank You For The Music\" .
Limited to 500 Copies: This pressing is strictly limited to 500 copies, making it a genuine collector\'s item for ABBA enthusiasts .

✔️ Key Features

Unofficial Release: This is an unofficial release on the Mind Control label (catalog MND896), not an officially licensed ABBA product .
12-Track Live Set: The album features the complete concert broadcast, with six tracks per side .
Analog Warmth: Pressed on standard black vinyl, offering the warmth and presence that only analog playback can deliver .
European Pressing: Manufactured in Europe, with distribution across multiple international markets .
High-Quality Sound: Reviewers on Discogs praise the pressing as \"perfect\" with \"equally perfect sound,\" noting it could teach official releases a thing or two about live presentation .

❤️ Why You\'ll Love It

The Rare Live ABBA Experience: ABBA were famously meticulous in the studio and rarely released live material during their active years. This recording captures them in a raw, energetic setting that offers a different perspective on familiar songs .
A Time Capsule of 1979: The concert captures ABBA at their commercial zenith, shortly before the cultural shifts that would lead to their eventual hiatus. Hearing \"Chiquitita\" and \"I Have A Dream\" performed live in this context is a genuinely moving experience .
Collector\'s Appeal: With only 500 copies in circulation, this LP is a scarce item that will become increasingly difficult to find. For vinyl collectors and ABBA fans alike, it represents a tangible piece of the band\'s touring history .
Superior Sound Quality: Multiple reviewers have noted that this unofficial pressing sounds better than some official ABBA live releases, with \"Chiquitita\" singled out for its bright, beautiful live performance .
