Up for sale is a charming vintage 1970s ballerina music jewelry box, featuring a wonderful retro "Hippy Dippy Daisy" hand-painted floral aesthetic on the exterior. The interior is lined in its original, vibrant pink satin fabric with a classic triangular mirror accent.Key Highlights & Functionality:
• Fully Working Movement: Unlike many vintage music boxes that have seized over time, the internal wind-up musical mechanism in this box plays beautifully and the ballerina figurine spins smoothly just as she should!
• Era: Circa late 1960s to early 1970s.
• Country of Origin: Musical movement typically made in Japan.This item is in very good vintage operational condition.
• Mechanism: Tested and fully functional. Music plays clearly and at a good pace.
• Cosmetics: Shows light cosmetic wear consistent with its 50+ year age. There is some minor surface discoloration/staining on the pink satin fabric along the inner shelf edge beneath the mirror (as clearly shown in the close-up photos). The mirror itself is intact and free of cracks. Outer paint looks bright with only minor scuffs.
