The Bashie Records pressing (catalog #9157) is the rare, local Chicago first pressing BEFORE the single was picked up for nationwide distribution by Dakar Records.

*Vinyl: VG+/Near Excellent* — Clean original vinyl with strong sheen. Shows light surface scuffs that do not affect playability (*SEE PHOTOS: the surface scuff pointed out in photo foes NOT skip or affect playback).

*Labels: Bright green Bashie labels. Side A features light cursive handwriting/signature in ink across the top field as pictured. Side B label is clean with light wear.

*Sleeve: Includes a new protective paper sleeve in an new outer plastic slipcover sleeve.

Up for sale is a vintage 1968 7\" 45 RPM single by The Visitors featuring the crossover sweet soul masterpiece \"Until You Came Along\" backed with the uptempo track \"I\'m In Danger\".

This is the original first press on green Bashie Records (9157)—pressed locally at Record Row in Chicago prior to the track being picked up for broader release on Dakar Records.

Their signature sound combined lush, floating falsetto lead vocals with tight group harmonies, making \"Until You Came Along\" a prized spin among Northern Soul and Sweet Soul collectors worldwide.

* The Label: Bashie Records was a short-lived, influential sub-label of Dakar Records located at 1449 S. Michigan Avenue along Chicago\'s legendary Record Row. Spearheaded by legendary producer Carl Davis alongside Willie Henderson and Eugene Record, Bashie was used to test and break local Chicago talent before wider distribution.
