    Collects all his hits from his solo career (and a few from his days with The Commodores)

    There is 2-disc version of this album with couple of more hits from his previous band "The Commodores" In this single disc version that I have, it includes 5 hits from the Commodores in which he sang lead. The rest are mostly the known hits he performed when he was a solo artist. Making this album the only album I need in my music library/collection where Lionel Ritchie is concerned.

    Great Music

    This compilation showcases Lionel's rich voice. Although I loved all of the music, I was particularly drawn to "Goodbye". My father passed away last year, so this song touched me personally. Lionel has been around many years. He has stood the test of time. As a singer, I am totally impressed with Lionel's pureness of voice and clarity in delivery! Lionel Richie has a simplicity, yet he manages to delve deep into emotions we have all felt. If you're a Lionel Richie or Commodores fan, you will thoroughly enjoy this CD. Without hesitation, I recommend this CD! Deb

    This cd has all your favorites. I forgot how many good songs Lionel had until I heard them again. Oh, how the memories came flooding back in hearing them again;)

    Defective!

    All of Lionel hits are very good. But on this particular cd, "The definitive Collection", Most of the tracks are defective. This error was done at the recording studio.
