Best of Mick Jagger-limited cd/dvd 2007.
I am a life long Stones fan. However, I could never figure out why they didn't include more blues type songs on their albums which is what they love and are great at. 'Cook Cook Blues' for example-why didn't they include more tracks like that on their albums and why did they waste their time with songs like 'Hold on to your hat'? I always thought that Mick was worried about what would sell more. They have come out with some amazing albums, but could have come out with much more great 'stuff'. Mick talks about writing too much Country in the dvd part of this set. Why not do a whole Country album? We would love it! Especially if the songs are as amazing as 'Far away eyes'. The 'Best of Mick Jagger' dvd is fun to watch. Even in Mick's advanced age the 'Mick smile' is ever present. There is a ... I am a life long Stones fan. As far as the track listing, again, I think Mick plays it safe here and doesn't include all of his greatest hits. It's definately a collection for the collection if you are a fan of Mick's solo work and or the Stones. It's $$ well spent though, as you can get this set new including shipping for $10 or less. Rock on Mick!
