  • Beautiful guitar picking

This Cd features some excellent guitar work, as you would expect from Martin Taylor and Steve Howe. Taylor's jazz influence is there, and they fit together very well. It's a very relaxed sort of album, very tasteful, beautifully performed, entirely instrumental - just the sound of acoustic guitars - and I'd recommend it to anyone who appreciates superb picking. My only reservation is that some of the tune choices themselves are little bit bland, allowing it to slide into the easy-listening category. I'd have preferred a little more ambition in that area, but the performances are beyond criticism.
