A great banjo for the casual player
I got this banjo to learn the clawhammer / oldtime style after a 40 year gap since I was a semi pro bluegrass player in the 70s. I did not expect a concert-level instrument but just something entry-level. So far this banjo is not a disappointment. It is light, easy to carry, stays in tune, has great action, and is a great value for the money. Good value, but not amazing.
Overall decent banjo for learning. No instructions for putting the tailpiece on. It's not simple like a guitar. Nut cut too deep on one of the strings. Bottoms out on frets. Will have to repair it myself I guess.
