    Not like original, not even close!

    Jazz Wax reissue of this classic was sonically very disappointing. My 55 year old, worn, stereo pressing sounded 100% better. It was like listening to the performance on AM radio! Very flat and no dynamics. Wonder what there sound engineers were using as a master? Too bad, this classic album deserves better.

    One of the few jazz albums -- heck, one if the few music albums of any kind--of which nothing is wrong. Every cut is fresh. Innovative, danceable, and cool even after sixty years. Take Five belongs in every jazz mavens home.
