    This concert was recorded in 1977 and released in 2006. The date doesn't matter. Good music is timeless. Listening to this marvelous recording, featuring Jethro Burns on several cuts, shows just why Steve Goodman was considered one of the greatest entertainers of his era. Best cuts include an early version of "I've Got to Hand It to You," Goodman's humorous ode to domestic bliss (which he introduced as a song for his wife), Shel Silverstein's riotous "Three Legged Man," "The Grand Canyon Song" (which Goodman said he wrote after hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon in 1975 -- "I just got back"), Goodman's marvelous "Lincoln Park Pirates," and his stellar slide work on "I'll Fly ...
