A must for OG GB fans! If you want to keep it in the cardboard, it's an awesome display piece. The CD case has a hole through the binding and back cover, but it doesn't affect the CD disc. The pack was probably a promo back in the day, and labels often drilled holes through the product / UPC to make sure it couldn't be returned or sold. It's a great piece of GB memorabilia!

I bought this to enjoy the Run D M C song " Ghostbusters Rap " ! Since I RARELY watch movies, but it was played @ a Northern California night-club I frequented in the 1990s and everyone there loved it, I had to get it on CD. A few years back I actually watched Ghostbusters 2 to see how each song was applied (in which situaion ), but just being able to play and enjoy the song with friends, and not be distracted by the video, is worth its' weight in gold !
I had this on tape when I was in high school. I went looking for this album one because I liked it and my son watched both movies and liked the soundtrack so I went looking for it. I was happy that I was able to find it. It may seem fun to go looking for an album that is old but when it comes to a new age of listeners to the music seen you want them to hear everybody that's out there because music changes from singers to style that I want my son to know about. This album has singers and bands that are not around any more.
A very very VERY dated sound but full of fun, often VERY silly lyrics. Its all funky and in good spirits (no pun intended, though that is the kind of pun this album is full of) highlights are On Our Own (I had no memory of there being such a dodgy rap at the end of that track but oh yes there sure is) the very eighties mix of Higher & Higher (not the Jackie Wilson original, that's not on here) and RUN DMC with a track they strangely left off their own greatest hits. If, like me, you like Elton John, his track is pretty great- it was the B- side to Sacrifice and is a great, fast tune with bonkers lyrics. Enjoy!
