  • Actually Bing Crosby, NOT Duke Ellington

Calling this a Duke Ellington broadcast is not accurate. It's a 30-minute Bing Crosby radio show. Duke Ellington is a "guest" and there is a brief dialog between Bing and the Duke. However, as far as I can tell, Duke does not perform any music. None of the songs listed on the album are written by Ellington. In fact I don't understand the point of having him on the program at all. Suck a shame, too ... Ellington was an outstanding musician, yet here we do not hear his music and we do not hear him perform. • awsome item

this item is awsome for the people who know who Bing was , I braught it for my mom who's 53 and was inlove with him as a young girl. It braught back many memorys for her. The music is nice and has that nice oldys feel, and lots of great voices. Bing jokes around and intros the songs.its the perfect gift for some one like my mom who loved him.
