Ace Frehley Remaster CD by KISS 1997
Great cover and enclosed Poster of Ace Frehley around 1978, great sound and this is Frehley at his best because he is not limited to what he is allowed to play like so many of the other Kiss records . I love Kiss studio sound back then but Ace's solo work sounds fresh and still better than most new so called progressive rock...the track 'fractured mirror' is untouchable! Thanks Frehley!Great cover and enclosed Poster of Ace Frehley around 1978, great sound and this is Frehley at his best because he is not limited to what he is allowed to play like so many of the other Kiss records . there was a time when kiss was on the verge of splitting up..so to prevent that manager (at that time) bill aucoin suggested each member do some solo stuff. gene simmons solo cd was ok..not great. paul stanley solo cd was was good..lotta love songs peter criss solo cd was good, alot of variety..and i always like his voice Ace frehley solo cd ROCKED the hardest out of all of them..gene simmons never gave ace enough credit..ace has decent songwriting skills, and is a good guitarist.
