    Thought it would be much better...

    Heard Renee on Chris Botti's 'Embraceable' CD, she did 'Pennies from heaven' she was super! This CD is very so so, not what I expected, she should have done more standards, more up beat, hipper, oh well. Good thin voice, needs more depth.

    A great CD by a very talented artist.

    This is one of my all time favorite CD's...great selection of tunes that I can't get out of my head. Renee Olstead has such an accomplished voice for being so young, like an old soul jazz singer. I always remember one episode of the old TV sitcom STILL STANDING where she sang a jazz melody...she was a young teen at the time, and I was so impressed. I am glad to see she pursued her musical career.

    Renee Olstead Great music from one so young

    I love this CD, I listen to it several times a week. I can not believe the voice from a girl so young and she has a way of making the music her own. I wish there were more songs on the CD but I understand she is working on another one and I can not wait to hear it. I bought this CD on the recommendation of a friend that told me he though I would like it. That was an understatement. I can recommend this CD to anyone that likes the old standards. Renee is destined to be one of the great singers of our time. I would recommend this CD to anyone. Men will probably like it better than women but even my wife enjoys listening to it only half as many times a week as I do.

    I've watched this hsow for years, then one day they showed a clip of this young girl singing I do not like Jazz or the blues but this girl can belt it out! Wow was I suprised, my husband instanly liked her and since I couldn't find it in the recrod stores anymore I thought I'd try looking here in ebay, what a great deal for a good product.
