Nice kit, impressed with timely shipping, excellent packing, everything labeled for easy installation, simple operation, price was terrific and it sounds great. Only con is rack arms are barely long enough to accommodate the expansion set I added and top left crash cymbal arm on corner rack mount could use more articulation towards drummer like the cymbal and tom mounts. They didn't over think this one.

After having it a week, my observations are that the volume of the cymbals is too low as is the volume for the bass drum. I like the mesh head a lot. I have had rubber pads before and these are much better. I'm not too thrilled with the responsiveness of the high hat. Overall, you get what you pay for. If you buy a $400 set of real drums, you won't expect them to be as good as $300 drums. The same is true for electronic drums. Overall they are fine for playing at home with headphones with music. I would not play on them in a live setting with a band. I don't think you would get nearly the sound you would need, though I have not tried these with an amp.

I did a lot of research before I made the purchase. The drum set delivered what I expected. Downloading the app to customize drum kits makes life very easy. Only negative is that the ride isn’t double triggered and you can only expand it with one more additional drum and one more additional cymbal. I plan on buying the expansion and converting the drum pad to a ride cymbal so I can use the center as ride and the rim as the bell ride.

I'm a guitarist who plays drums, but, I play pretty fluently. This is a GREAT little drum kit. I like it A LOT. Perhaps I'll learn more about it in the next few weeks, but, right now, I will say the response is not as good as I'd hoped, mostly high hat. The drums/mesh heads are much more responsive and have a very good feel. Some really great sounds. Overall .. it's a super instrument. I will caveat by saying, I may get these response issues worked out as I learn more, and play this set more. It's pretty cool though, I do like it.

I am a guitarist who does a lot of finger drumming and programming. I bought these so I could learn to play drums. THE GOOD: Aesthetics are nice, great looking and compact kit. The rack works well and bang for buck seems decent. Module has pretty good features especially when paired with app. The Bluetooth works great. I like the kick a lot! THE BAD: Inconsistent triggers, dynamics and volume responses , especially with hi-hat. The snare also has a centered trigger that you can feel with your hand and it creates a super sensitive spot in middle that means much higher volume hit when you strike the middle, so its a little out of balance imo. All of this can be remedied with good eDrum technique which I don’t really have! OVER-ALL - This kit seems to be a good one for price, but I have not had any experience with under $500 kits so no real way to compare. I have played a $1000 Roland kit that felt way more responsive , but probably to be expected. Read full review
