    amazing

    Practically Eminem at his best. While shock rap isnt really something difficult to do, Eminem mixes it with his lyrical cleverness. He throws out memorable punchlines bound to stick and he does it in a style which is clearly not simple and just thrown out with little effort. This album is quite a treasure, being that its one of the few pieces of work that are connected to the mainstream success of the heavilly underground infested horrorcore community. Possibly the best thing about The Marshall Mathers LP is hearing Eminem verbally slap the world's moral guardians senseless. However, because of its lyrical content (and also because he so frequently and ruthlessly disses 'N Sync) the pure catchy-pop of the record is often overlooked

    Eminem's Finest

    Sometimes I don't know about Eminem. I just don't know. Out of his first three albums, I consider this one the best. I haven't even bothered with ENCORE or CURTAIN CALL or whatever -- because I feel it won't get any better. While Em's lyrically ability still exhibits flashes of brightness, I think he's pretty much worn out his image. THE MARSHALL MATHERS LP is more self-assured than SLIM. It relates its issues well, about the onset of fame and the responsibilities thereof, the power of misapprehened images, parts of it are fun, other parts are shockingly poignant. Forgive me, but I think "Stan" is Em's greatest song ever, even though it's not my favorite. 'MATHERS fixes a tight grip on what Em was about at that time, it delivers ...

    ONE OF THE GR8TEST AND AS A UNDISPUTED FREESTYLE CHAMP MYSELF MUCH RESPECT TO EM BUT THIS IS BY FAR ONE OF HIS BEST ALBUMS BECAUSE HE WAS HUNGRY I SAY SO ALL THAT HE HAD TO SAY ABOUT HIS LIFE AND WHAT HE HAS BEEN THROUGH TO ME WAS SAID WITH IN HIS 1ST 3 ALBUMS AFTER THAT HE EVEN SAYS HIS SELF IN A SING THAT SAY I JUST DID A HOLE SONG AND I DIDNT SAY S#!% SO HE KNEW HE HAD SAID PRETTY MUCH ALL HE HAD TO SAY SO FAR AND KINDA CALLE DIT QUIETS FOR THE TIME BEING THAT TAKES A REAL ARTIST INSTEAD OF PULLING ALL YOUR FANS TO BUY CRAP LIKE SOME ARTIST DO JUST CAUSE THEIR NAME IS ON IT (JAY Z) JUST ADMIT WHEN YOU AT YOUR END...BUY AND LISTEN AND DISCOVER

    Great CD, shows that everyone has problems.

    This is probably my 2nd favorite CD of all time, only the Slim Shady LP could top this, for me anyhow. This CD highlights the problems faced by a rising star, new found wealth, and fame; as well as the fans. This was a great follow up to The Slim Shady LP. Great artist!!
