This was a gift and was opened on Christmas 2021. My adult son loved it. The brown color is great and the 5 string bass is exceptional for the low cost! He loves the light weight and how it plays with ease and the sound is excellent too. He is very happy with it. I highly recommend this company and site! 5++ stars! Ok, did a lot of research on this item before purchasing. This bass was exactly as all reviewers described, not good and bad. So no surprises. Couple of things though. 1. The neck is not a baseball bat in size or weight. 2. The electronics sucks. I'm going to upgrade it to active electronics. 3. Set up really sucks out of the box, so you'll need to adjust the height and action on the neck. Instrument is VERY LIGHT, with no "neck dive". Also a very solid construction overall. Would recommend

Surprisingly not a bad bass for the price. Has a good tone overall. Tuners we’re not good. One tuner locked so that I couldn’t tune the string. I bought this bass as a host to upgrade pickups. I changed tuners as well and spray painted the body. It was a fun project and now I have a unique bass!
