Vintage PIERRE JACQUARD "ELECTRA" 17 Jewels Shockproof Mechanical (Wind-Up) OPEN POCKET WATCH Runs, Repair, Parts or Art

This is a very classy, beautiful and elegant Pierre Jacquard Pocket Watch. It is mechanical (hand winding), withopen face closure and has 17 jewels (17J). It has a white dial with gold tone hands and markers, the back of the case and crown have a gold tone. Because I do not know how to open this watch and did not want to risk to damage it, I cannot access the movement to get more information on country of origin, year of make, or whether it is gold filled, gold plated or not. It may just be stainless steel with a gold tone.

The dialhas a diameter of38 mm and with the case: 43 mm. The dial reads: Pierre Jacquard Electra, 17 Jewels, Shockproof.

This mechanical/wind-up pocket watch RUNS, but does not keep well the time. NeedsREPAIR.Issue with the hands not moving well. When winding the watch, the seconds hand moves but when I try to set the time, the hour and minutes hands do not move normally. Once the watch starts running, the hands get stuck. May need maintenance or repair. The structure of the watch is very good. There are a couple of scratches on the little handle that was meant for the chain. The body of the watch and crystal are in very good condition for a vintage watch,except for a small area on the side of the back of the case, where there is a little peeling. There is no chain. Selling as non-working for repair, parts or steampunk art. SOLD AS IS. Please review pictures for more details.
