Found this vintage music box with another vintage item that made me smile when I saw them. This one plays music - I\'m not sure what the title of the song is. I\'ve heard it but don\'t recognize it. It does turn also. I love the face on this guy! At first I didn\'t realize it was a decanter until I was home and studying it. The lamp post top is the removable cork. It is empty and don\'t believe it was ever used as a decanter.
-Pre-owned by an older couple
-Appears to have no chips or cracks
-About 14\" x 3 3/4\"
-Empty
-A little fading on the painted music notes
It does lean a little because base is missing one screw
-The bottom felt was partially removed to check music box and you can put another screw in. Then felt can be reapplied
A great addition to your decanter, music box, or clown/hobo collection!
* I enjoy picking up some interesting and beautiful vintage, modern and items that still have good use left in hopes to find them a new home and save them from the landfill.
*Proceeds will be going to at this time college expenses for an amazing young artist!
*I am a smoke free home but do have a dog. Every now and then he wants to send along a little piece of his hair as a bonus. :)
