Vintage-Antique Musical Jewelry box by world famous Sankyo.

Lovely piece to add to your collection or gift to a loved one.

Measures approx 3.5” x 2.75” x 2.75”.

Oval shaped with Rose floral pattern and delicate filigree Gold gold type trim on white enamel finish. Pedestal footing for added elegance. Inside of box lined with pink velvet fabric. The music box works & is located along with windup key inside box directly below lid with Sankyo marking. A musical tune plays when the windup key is turned. Underside of jewelry box is marked Japan.

The turn key type & shape of this music box is evident this is not from the 60’s or after. It’s defiantly from late 40’s to 50’s era.

This jewelry box is in great pre-owned condition. There are signs of enamel wear & tarnish, and tiny ding on porcelain lid. Considering it’s old age, it looks well.
