Vintage 1937 Brach's Christmas Candy Toys Cardboard Drum Display 14” X 9.25”:

This Vintage 1937 Brach's Christmas Candy Toy Drum display is in really good condition for its age! I'm assuming it was used as a Store display at christmas to advertise the toy candy drum in a much smaller size. It measures 14” in diameter and is 9 1/4” high. It is made of a heavy cardboard with metal rims and what looks like a metal pull tab wire to open the candy container. The drum's graphics are in good shape with minor staining as shown in the pictures. I tried to show every side of the drum in the pictures so that you will know the condition of this 70 year old christmas display. The writing on the drum says " Brach's Christmas Candy Toys" and on the bottom "Made with Delicious Butter Cream”. Stamped into the cardboard bottom is the "Master Package Corpn. Owen, Wisconson" And in small red writing on the bottom edge of the drum is “copyrighted 1937” and “Design Patent Applied For” A very rare and excellent piece of advertising.
