The Vintage 78 RPM Mozart Piano Concerto in D Major on DECCA Records is a collector's edition release from the 1930/1940s, featuring the renowned pianist Magda Tagliafero and conductor Reynaldo Hahn. This classical piece, in a black shellac material, comes in a 12" cardboard sleeve from Deutsche Grammophon. The record is a compilation of Mozart's piano concerto in D Major, presented in French.
language, making it a valuable addition to any music enthusiast's collection.This item definitely shoes its age. The binder is worn and has a tear along the seam. This set includes 7 records that are 78RPM. These will not play on a traditional LP record player.The DECCA record label was founded in 1929. These records are very collectible and highly sought after. The first 4 records feature Magda Traliafero with conductor Reynaldo Hahn. The next 2 records are Stavinsky with the Philharmonic Orchestra (conducted by Erich Kleiber). It's called The Firebird. The last record is the Slavonic Dance in A flat major (Anton Dvorak) with the Philharmonic Orchestra and is also conducted by Erich Kleiber.The first 6 records look to be in decent shape with no major scratches. The last record (Slavonic Dance) does have a small, yet intact crack (see last pic).I got these from an Estate sale. I'm not overly familiar with the age and value or if the binder they are in is an original.
