Vintage 1946 Swiss Cuendet Music Box working. Lovely patina. Plays “Poor Old Joe”.

Working music box. She’s a little slow and could use a good professional cleaning. She plays and then slowly winds down.

Lovely vintage condition. Mirror in good condition with no issues. Glass covering over box movement is tight and does not appear to have ever been tampered with.

Beautiful image on the top of a castle on a lake with pink trees blooming. Reminds me the Swiss countryside. There is some loss to the image around the edges and a few signs of wear and staining consistent with the age of this item.

Expect the condition of something that is nearly 80 years old!!

Tag on bottom states it is from July 24, 1946 in two places. Retailed by RBS. And is a marked both on the music box movement and the bottom of the box that it is Swiss made.

No funny smells or odors. A real survivor! I wish it could tell us it’s story!!
