This is a vintage musical coin bank from Toybanco in Minnesota, circa 1980. The piece is made of tin and has a slot on top of the removable lid so that coins can be inserted and saved. The sides of the piece feature painted scenes representing the different seasons. The piece contains a 1 tune 18 note Japanese made Sankyo musical mechanism which is mounted inside the piece. The musical mechanism has been professionally serviced and restored to \"AS NEW\" condition by the seller, Music Box Repair Center Unlimited. The musical mechanism has a winding key located on the \"Spring\" side of the piece, and when wound the musical mechanism will start playing immediately.
