VINTAGE GERMAN 2 CHIRPING SINGING BIRDS IN BRASS CAGE MUSIC BOX AUTOMATON.

This features 2 feathered birds that chirp and tails flutter. The red bird turns on the perch, the other is stationary. This is a key wind with an on/off switch. The intermission setting which I assume is to keep this from running continuously does not appear to work. Ten turns to the key will have this run for about 2-3 minutes. The birds take turns tweeting and chortling. The beaks open and close, the red one turns on the perch, both birds tails flutter up and down. Measures about 11\" tall.

Condition is used but is overall clean . There is some corrosion on the key and the feet.
