LONG STORY SHORT, BACK IN THE DAY MY DAD KNEW SOMEONE IN CONSTRUCTION WHO WAS REMODELING A RADIO STATION AND WAS ASKED IF HE WANTED THIS PROMO LP AND PROMO POSTER (AMONG OTHER ITEMS OF THE DAY - THE LATE 1970s or EARLY 1980s).

THE LP IS A PROMO COPY WITH THE WARNER BROS. "PROMOTIONAL COPY - NOT FOR SALE" STICKER ON THE FRONT COVER.THE COVER AND VINYL ARE NO DIFFERENT THAN THE COMMERCIAL RELEASE, EXCEPT FOR THE PROMO STICKER.

THE REAL STAR HERE IS The 23" x 23" Record Company Promotional Poster dated 1977 SIRE Records, Inc.
The Poster is very fragile and should be handled with care, especially at the seams / folds / creases which has weakened with age and from being folded lo these many years.
The Promo Poster is in Goodcondition with typical wear from age and being displayed, including, but not limited to corner dings, scrapes, creases, crumples. There are a few stains of an unknown origin. The poster has a curling effect when laying flat(please see pics).
There are a few rips / tears along the foldover seams. There are several pin holes in all 4 corners. And the name Ramones is written in 2 spots on the back side of the poster. (please see pics)
Evidently, the Poster was displayed prior to me obtaining it as determined by the pin holes in all 4 corners.There are no tape marks or tape removal marks.
The Poster was never displayed by me for the past 40+ years. Ever since I obtained the Poster it has been folded and kept inside the record sleeve lo these many years.

PLAY TESTED! I RECENTLY PLAYED THIS LP AND ITSOUNDS AWESOME! But you will hear surface noise typical with a Very Good grading.

The Vinyl is in VeryGoodcondition, with typical wear / light surface that may cause surface noise typical with a VeryGoodgrading. Even with a VeryGoodgrading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticible during the quiet parts.

Nice, fairly clean labels with some spindle marks.
The cover is in VeryGoodcondition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings / soft corners, scrapes, creases, crumples, minor peeling, staining and ring wear. There are no split seams.
The custom inner lyric sleeve is in Goodcondition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, scrapes, creases, crumples, and ring wear. There is a medium split seam on 2 sides and a large split seam on the bottom.
