You are buying a pierced handle cake or sandwich plate in what I believe is the Madeleine blank made by Rosenthal in Bavaria. The smooth white china is decorated with pink roses with green leaves and stems and gold trim. The back mark says Rosenthal, Madeleine, Bavaria, Handpainted. The gold looks handpainted and there is a signature in the design that I read as Aigle, please use your best judgment. The photos are of the item you will receive.

The plate measuresabout 12 3/8" handle to handle and 11" across. There is some wear to the gold and a few light scratches from use or storage. No cracks, crazing or other damage I can detect. Please see and enlarge photos.

This item weighs 1 pound 8 ounces unpacked.I am happy to combine shipping.
