Both drums are very viable as musical instruments for use. Both are 7 inch in diameter and one stands 12 inhes and the other 8. The taller drum has a beautiful deep and revererating sound when struck bare handed. The smaller one does not, but does sound excellent when struck with a stick. From as much as i understand, Both are made entirely by one man; from the tanning of the hide to hollowing the ironwood. The hide drum head is sexured by tannned deer hide twine and the smaller drums handle has snapped from use and probably cannot be retied. Overall the drums are in excellent condition and ready for use. For those of you still reading and are interested in purchasing, please message me for a complimentary brass singing meditation bowl.
