An original water colour painting of the outside of Wigan Casino.

\"Arriving at the Casino\" is an original signed water colour painting by Northern Soul artist Neil Thompson.

The painting shows a scene outside Wigan Casino. A coach arrives, the crowd is growing, the atmosphere is beginning to build. It happened every Saturday night before the start of an all nighter. Just looking at the painting and you could be back there!Take an up-close look at the intricate details of the painting, from the vibrant colours to the bold brushstrokes, and immerse yourself in the Northern Soul scene.

Neil has been part of the Northern Soul scene since the early 1970\'s. He\'s visited many Northern Soul clubs and was a regular at the Casino during the 1970\'s. All his art is done from memory, he doesn\'t need to use old photographs - he was there in the glory days of Northern Soul!

The painting is one of Neil\'s bigger works, measures 50 cm wide by 35 cm tall and has been completed on 250 gram art paper.

This is an original piece of art, there are no copies or prints.
