1) HAIR (1969) (ATCO - SD-7002) - UniPack. Original London Cast recording of musical stage production. Music by Galt MacDermot. Book & Lyrics by Gerome Ragni & James Rado. Musical director: Derek Wadsworth. Dance director: Julie Arenal. CONDITION: Vinyl & Cover = Excellent.
2) SCARLETT (1970) (Victor -World Group - SJET-9210-11) 2-LP Set. Gatefold cover. RARE Original Japanese Cast recording of musical stage production. Spoken & Sung in Japanese language. Based on Margaret Mitchell's novel, Gone with The Wind. Music & Lyrics by Harold Rome. Book by Kazuo Kikuta. Entire production directed and choreographed by Joe Layton. This musical production premiered in January 1970 at the Imperial Theatre in Tokyo, Japan, presented in two parts - each 6 months -and each running for 4 hours long. CAST starred Sakura Jinguji as Scarlett O'Hara & Kinya Kitaoji as Rhett Butler. Additional HISTORY:This show underwent severe revisions when it has translated into English and was ninety minutes shorter. A new book was adapted by Horton Foote and renamed, Gone With The Wind. This London west End version opened in May 1972 at the Deury Lane theatre and ran for 398 performances. A Broadway run was cancelled after an unsuccessful Los Angles/San Francisco tryout run. Based on American musical with Book and lyrics by: Alan Jay Lerner. Music by Frederick Loewe.Italian adaptation by Suso Cecchi D'Amico.Cast: Delia Scala,Gianricao Tedeschi, Mario Carotenuto. CONDITION: Vinyl = Excellent. Cover = Very Good. Stain mark at lower left hand front cover (see photo).
