(Wikipedia Excerpts) Lucio Battisti (3/5/1943 –9/9/1998) was an Italian singer-songwriter and composer. He is widelyrecognized for songs that defined the late 1960s and 1970s era of Italiansongwriting. In 1977 he relocated to LosAngeles, and issued the album for sale here “Images”. Images featured some of his biggest hitsre-recorded in English.

Battisti released 18 studio albums from 1969 to1994, with a significant portion of this catalogue translated into Spanish(various albums), English (one album), French (two albums), and German (onealbum). He was known to be an extremely reserved artist, performing only asmall number of live concerts during his career. In 1978 he announced that hewould speak to the public only through his musical work, limiting himself tothe recording of studio albums and disappearing from the public scene.

The album was visually inspected and appearedto be shiny and unplayed, in Near Mint condition.

The cover is in VG+ condition, with moderateshelf wear. It has a gold promo stamp on the rear cover.

It has the original custom inner sleeve, whichis a full-color glossy sleeve featuring lyrics and credits on one side and aphoto of Battisti on the other side.There is one minor crease and no seam splits.

The Seller was in the retail record business inthe 1970's-1980's and acquired a collection of 2500+ albums from that era,which is now being sold on . Most have never (or seldom) been played. Manyare white label promos, first pressings, and often factory sealed. Thecollection has been securely boxed and stored in a smoke free environment since1983, 40 years! M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and hasnever been played.

NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just gotit home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may havesome light rub marks.

VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) - Vinyl may show somesigns of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don'taffect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightlyturned corners, or a slight seam split. May have slight signs of wear also maybe marred by a cut out hole, sawcut, or cut corner indicating it is apromotional copy.

VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear,scratches, or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers(or their residue) attached, etc.
