By the 1950s, Louis Armstrong had become a worldwide cultural icon, and he spent much of that decade touring the world. Satch played primarily standards, show tunes, and early jazz favorites on these tours, as confirmed by the track list on IN SCANDINAVIA, VOL. 2, recorded in Stockholm and Copenhagen. Here Louis lets fly with his brash trumpet, his warm, gravelly vocals, and his jive-filled banter, delighting the audience with gems like \"High Society\" and \"On the Sunny Side of the Street,\" among others.
