These are vintage, NOS (New Old Stock) parts, and were removed from UN-used equipment. Microphone is two piece aluminum construction. Top has conical shape as shown in photos. Two back terminals are marked 'plus' and 'minus'. The minus terminal is connected to the case. Element may or may not have short wire leads. Their are nor markings or part numbers on them, and we have no specs for these. As shown by the comments above, people really do like them. As shown in the photo, they have been tested to be functional.

Microphone measures a nominal 1.90 inches in diameter (48.3 mm), 0.52 inches thick (13.2 mm), excluding terminals.

Great for radio and electronic project experimenter use, vacuum tube circuits, music uses; anywhere a high impedance microphone is required. Unusual and hard to find item. See our other listings for smaller crystal mics.
