This set is a complete collection of Siberius symphonies recorded in Eterna, East Germany from 1970 to 1977 by the famous German conductor Kurt Sanderling (1912-2011) with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, who has been the principal conductor since 1960. is. At that time, Eterna recorded the three songs Nos. 1, 2 and 7 with Dresden Phil conducted by Garaguri, No. 4 with Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Kegel, and No. 6 with Berlin Conductor Symphony Orchestra conducted by Berglund. Zyklus begins with unrecorded Nos. 3 (1970 recording) and 5th (1971 recording). The excellent performance of these two songs created the momentum for recording the complete works, recording the 6th & 7th and 2nd in 1974, the 1st in 1976, and the 4th in 1977. It was completed. The characteristic of Sibelius of Sanderling is the fusion of the skill of expressing the score in a clear and meaningful way and the thickness of the symphonic sound, and it boasts a completely unique ground in the recording of the complete works. In recent years, performances that delicately express the texture of Sibelius\'s sound in a cold and transparent sound have become popular, but Sanderling makes use of the delicate entanglement of sound, and the power originally contained in Sibelius\' music. The strength and scale are beautifully expressed in the natural flow of music. The recording of Eterna\'s heyday of analog is also completely non-irritating and perfectly reproduces the sound of a profound and organic orchestra. These masterpieces, which embody the musicality of Sanderling itself very concretely, are sound sources suitable for reproduction with high sound quality. For this release, we have reprinted the original analog master tape from our home country. Since it is a recording that makes full use of SACD\'s special mention, I hope that the performance evaluation will be further enhanced by this high-quality sound.

For this reprint, the master tape was air-fed from the label to the studio of mastering engineer Christoph Stickel, who lives in Vienna, mastered in the analog domain, and then digitized as DSD for the SACD layer. Commercialized by using a separate system for PCM for the CD layer. In this project, we have achieved mastering in the ideal way currently possible. The effect is remarkable, it is possible to reproduce the quality left on the master tape extremely faithfully, and mastering and direct DSD only in the analog area bring about a more sound quality effect.
