Available to you is this LOT of 1,000+ pieces of 9\" x 12\" vintage sheet music that is found to be in very poor to good condition. The music is being sold \"AS IS\" and the condition is variable so please read the entire listing. You will find separated seams, tears, tape, soiling, writing, marks, stickers, and other possible issues with the majority of this sheet music. I tried to cull out and remove the most severely tore up pieces and when possible I kept the pages together if the seams were separated, though you will find some loose pages throughout the \"lot\" which were not part of the count.
Most of the music is still useable with any of the above issues, but also the music could be used for a variety of other purposes such as scrapbooks, collages, decopouge, journaling and other scrap music and paper craft arts. Also, someone who has an interest in music restoration would have plenty of pieces to practice upon to learn such a valuable skill. I hesitated listing the music, because so many are in such poor condition, but my alternative was to just burn them, so I felt like there might be someone who would have interest in this huge \"lot\" of music.
The music is mainly from the 1920s to 1940s (there are a few pieces from the 1950s to 1960s) where you will find a great deal of early jazz pieces, but there is also music from movies and musicals. These are not \"plain\" cover pieces, though there might be a handful. There are plenty that have artsy, cute covers and some with pretty girls on the covers. A lot of them have different singing artist, groups, band leaders and orchestras on the covers from a plethora of different composers. The majority of the music was written for piano and vocal and many of the pieces include ukulele, guitar, and banjo along with the piano and vocal. There are so many different styles and genres in 1,000+ pieces, so just use your imagination.
I opted to not do more pictures and the package will already be prepacked to ship. I added an additional 200+ pieces, so the weight is closer to 70 pounds and the height of the stack is closer to 21\" tall. The music will be wrapped in plastic and the package will be shipped media mail in a very secure heavy-duty, cardboard box with lots of tape (I\'ve shipped over 1,000 pieces to Atlanta from Washington before with absolutely no problem).
