This one is so very-special, in that it not only includes Eight ( 8 ) Grateful Dead Studio & Live Tracks ! ... but, each track receives a thorough explanation of Phil's take on the Track - in a ' Commentary ' format - considering the circumstances, time, place, and Phil's personal opinion ! The Tracks range from 1966 to 1995, all the way through the very last & final Grateful Dead Show at Soldier Field in Chicago - where Phil calls for a 2nd ! Encore, in " Box Of Rain " ... and here, he explains exactly why. Phil's commentary is rich in detail, and even more so in some cases ... emotion. This one is just Magnificent ! in that is was released in 2005 - in conjunction with the release of his long-awaited Book - " Searching For The Sound " ... and this time-period unofficially marked 10-Years since the Final Grateful Dead Show ! Some of the emotion is still fresh indeed, as naturally - as we all know ... none of that ever really changes anyways, but time can heal. Item Condition : This Very-Rare !! Out of Print ( 2005 GDP release ) Grateful Dead Phil Lesh " Searching For The Sound " Bonus Disc CD (1-CD) is in Very Good condition. CD (1-CD) is in Very Good condition with light scratches/marks on the playing surface (please see photos). CD Case ( ' Artistic ' ( Very ! ) Single-Sleeve 1-CD Case featuring Phil ! ) is in Very Good condition, with light surface wear indentation marks (please see photos). Please see all photos provided. Photos included are of the actual item you will receive. The Grateful Dead ! 1966 through 1995 - from the perspective of Phil Lesh !! ... the " Searching For The Sound " Bonus Disc CD!!! Enjoy !!!!!* Please Note * : There is are two ( 2 ) split-second digital glitches on the final track of this CD ( Track #8 ( Box Of Rain ) ), apparently from either the remastering process - or from the factory CD pressing plant. These occur at the 3:54 & 4:38 marks ( approximately ) of track #8. I purchased a few of these items upon their initial release ( in 2005 ), and each of these CD's played back " the exact-same-way " - just as mentioned. Also, this CD itself was manufactured with no art/graphics on the CD face ( top-side ) itself (please see photos) - a Silver CD, with no printing/graphics. Pretty-cool, and definitely ' unique ' for certain. This listing is for the " Bonus Disc CD " Only, as the Searching For the Sound ' Book ' is Not-Included.
