" GDPD 4001 " - from way back in the day when Grateful Dead Records still had a London, England Address ! > 48-50 Steele Road, London NW10 7AS ! So, yes indeed ... a Serious ! Piece of G.D. History here - from Yesteryear ! Wow ... I mean how time flies - as here today, this " Picture Disc CD " was issued over 35-Years Ago !! The 1975 Studio Album Masterpiece ! by The Grateful Dead !!! This '75 Album release was in essence the" Return ! " of The Grateful Dead !!! This 1975 Album is nothing short of both Amazing ! & Spectacular !! ... and, as I always like to ponder & say - I cannot even Imagine ! what it would have been like in 1975 to actually see one of the only Four ( 4 ) Shows ! the Grateful Dead played - that whole 1975 year ... as the jaws in the crowd must have been on the ground ! Both in surprise, and in sheer amazement too ... Whoa !?! And especially on 8/13/75 at the Great American Music Hall !!! In many-many ways - this brand of G.D. was Far ! different than what they were offered in the past ...very different & Amazing ! This is the Help > Slip ! > Franklin's - Crazy Fingers & Music Never Stopped Era ! Touched in sound & delivery by the Mid-'70's sound & style for certain, but as usual - uniquely trademarked in a Grateful Dead way - that Only ! the Grateful Dead can do ! Now ... keep in mind here - that the Grateful Dead announced it would be taking a ' Hiatus ' right after the October '74 Winterland Shows - and it was really uncertain what exactly the future held for the Good Ol' Grateful Dead ?! Well, they all did their own things - side-projects made main - studio albums - practicing - relaxing, or really - just doing other things ... and, as it turned out - it really was the very-best thing that could have ever happened for every Member in the Band !
