Columbia Climax 7 Inch 78 RPM Record #51 \"Good-Bye, Dolly Gray\" Quartet WOWIE:
$55.00
Collectors, here is a rare one, Columbia Climax announced 7 inch one sided #51, circa late 1901. The Climax Quartet performs the song \"Good-Bye, Dolly Gray\", with cornet and piano. Pretty song with fine singing, a nice listen. The record plays very well, with some surface noise. As you can see, a previous owner drilled out the spindle hole so the record would be playable on one of the Chicago \"premium\" phonographs, what a shame! A piece of phonograph history, one of the first discs from Columbia! Giveaway price due to the drilled out spindle hole, don\'t pass it up!
Shipping to USA addresses only. $5.00 ground advantage postage and handling fee, record will be carefully packed and shipped in a new box. Please pay within 24 hours of purchase and I will leave you positive response when I ship the record, your positive response appreciated!! See my store for other early 78s and thanks for looking!!
