The50th Anniversary guitar Chevrolet Motor Division commissioned the Gibson Custom Shopto build 50 (fifty)…. Yes, only 50 of the Corvette 50th AnniversaryLes Paul model guitar of the anniversary red series. GM priced the guitars at $5,000 each! This pin that is up for this sale is anabsolute correct replica of the original Les Paul Guitar. I cannot stress enough that these pins areexact replicas (look at the strings and knobs) of those prestigious originalguitars. The “Real” Guitar, like theLapel Pin made their debut at the NashvilleCelebration. The Pins were onlyavailable to individuals who donated monies towards designated charities at aspecial venue during the event.This is another one of those “best keptsecrets” from the Corvette 50th Anniversary celebration in Nashville.
