A nice quality brass banjo weight driven clock movement.Marked: C A LENDERMAN DIBOLL, TX and numbers 1228 and 5 .
sale includes: movement, complete pendulum, hands and washers/pin, weight, pulley, cable, winder, dial.
The cable is fine wire.Plates measure 2 5/8 x 4 inchesDial: 7 1/2 diameter drilled only for center - need to add the hole for winding. Painted on aluminum.
Has two small mounting holes drilled at 2 and 8 . (seller of the dial attributes it from Stennes)
Minute hand is 3 1/2 and hour is 2 7/8 inchesPendulum is 26 +/- inches see pic (will be disassembled for shipping)
The lead weight is a little over 7 lbs and is 6 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches.Movement is not dated but 1990\'s era.I mounted the movement on a test seat board and set it up and ran it a few days.
I purchased the weight from Merritts after getting the movement.
When the weight runs down after a few days, the pendulum bob and the weight can touch.One will need to adjust that issue to get the full duration from the clock.
I was going to make a case for this but just have too many other projects.Shipped USPS flat rate box.
