Antique Brass Steampunk lamp / Student Oil Lamp W/ Quartz Base / Electrified VTG.

The previous owner of this lamp had outfitted it with a brass shade that is not original to the lamp. But we will send it with the lamp if you purchase it.

It appears to us that after this lamp was electrified from once being an oil lamp the base was no longer usable so they replaced it with this beautiful quartz base that has a lovely gray marbling.

It has a lovely patina and all these unique details make it one of a kind.

As you can see in our images the lamp is functioning and works well with modern light bulbs. Light bulb not included.

We do believe this lamp to be Manhattan style without the base it's hard to tell for sure. We are estimating that it was made in the early 1900s. That would make this lamp over a 100 years old!

The lamp is 19" tall approximate 10" wide and 5" deep. The quartz base is about five-by-five inch square and has a little bit of a rough corner or 2 that shows a beautiful shimmer of the quartz.
