1977 - 1978 Music Man NAMM show Catalog packet Owned by Leo Fender Never opened:
$100.00
This listing is for one (1) Music Man Catalog packet put together for the NAMM International Music Expo June 1978. This was made upon launch of the Sabre Guitar model (the bass came out in 1979), before they had a chance to have new catalogs printed to feature the new model. They used the leftover 1977 catalog and included a slick introducing the Sabre guitar. I purchased this with a large quantity of Leo Fender's personal files. He had a file of catalogs that he would dip in to and give to anyone that asked (Music Man offices were in another town). The opened one of these had the catalog, a July 1978 price list, and the Sabre slick. I assume this contains the same, but never opened to verify. It is more interesting to me unopened. Inside the catalog will not have been touched since packed in 1978. Has soft corners from file storage. Sold as is.
