I also would like to ask the help of the technical experts as to how Flea gets the sound he does on the high notes in the solo. I have marked then with a ~ as vibrato, but I'm not sure that is correct and I can't get that sound.   I figured this out all on my own with my Bass Collection SB301 and a Peavy TKO 110.   Key:   Above the line:   V = The downbeat. Hence four in each bar. v = The upbeat. As in one-AND-two-AND-... THe AND is the upbeat.   >NB. I have only put the upbeat in the the bits that need it, mostly the solo.   Below the line:   (___) = Triplet 3 + = Slap with thumb ^ = Pop with finger.   In the TAB:   ||-- ||o- = The beginning of a repeat. The end is the same ||o- but backwards ||--   ~ = Vibrato. I think, see above. 10h12 = Hammer-on from 10th fret to 12th. 3p0 = Pull-off from 3rd to open.
