National Lampoon has a new DVD. It's called Lost Reality. Like the name suggests, it features Reality TV shows that, you guessed it, were lost and most should remain that way. It's the Reality TV shows that never made it to the networks. The only potential show was "Money" which has been done on an occasional basis already on comedy shows. "Money" tested at what price random people on the streets would do (or be done to them) absurd things like eat a hot dog out of a midget's ass crack. That brings us to "Midget Wrestling", which is entirely self explanitary. A pornography star decided to attempt to capitalize on the reality boom with his non-hit "Project Redlight." Although an interesting premise (have unsuspecting film students direct a porno), it lacked even moderate entertainment value. Perhaps with the right personalities this show could have a chance. "Beer Goggles" was so stupid, you'd have to see it for yourself (or just hit the next button). Although "Scare Me" (drunk college students scaring random people) started out a little funny, it ended over the top and then became simply wrong. To see what I mean and to see other shows that just didn't make the cut, you'll have to get the DVD.
