Tuning down half a step : The standard tuning of a guitar is ( from low to
high ) E A D G B E To tune down half a step you must lower the six
strings of a half tone, this way the new tune of the guitar will be
: Eb Ab Db GB Bb Eb
You must lower the six strings of a whole step and
the new tune Will be : D G C F A D
There are two ways to obtain a Db tuning down,
starting from the whole step tuning down you must lower the six
strings another half step, so the new tune will be : Db Gb B E Ab Db Starting from the Open D tuning ( D A D Gb A D )
lower the six strings half a Step, the new tune will be : Db Ab Db F Ab D Note - all these special kinds of tuning are
generally used on stage during the gigs to help the singers without
