Matt's Music Page was first created in December of 1997. It originally started out on an aol server. I fixed a lot of the pages during the summer of 1998. That's also when I started getting a lot of visitors. I started receiving many emails, and I answered every single one of them. I still answer all my emails to this day. I actually had to get a separate server just for emails. Between July 1, 2001 and October 1, 2001 I have received and responded to well over 2000 emails. That's the difference between my page and other people's pages: I actually respond to all my email. I also have my own domain name, www.mattsmusicpage.com. During the summer is when I'm usually able to update my site the most. In the summer of 2000 I added tons of stuff to each artists pages on my site and other subpages of my homepage. The beginning of 2001 I got a new server. It's on it's own T1 line making my website more easily accessible as well as being faster. Once again, my website expanded, so I changed servers over again!! I'm on an even faster server now with more available bandwidth working for a company called Peel. The only problem with peel is all the pop up ads, but they pay for the server. Finally now, Sept. 2001, I decided to get my own dedicated server. That means my website is now faster than ever before. I'm not sure how much I can afford it due to it's great expense, but it's sooooo fast. Contact Me if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions.
