Mattsmusicpage.com Newsletter Volume I Issue 1

This is the first time I'm writing a newsletter. I hope that it will be a good source for both where I'm going with my website, how I'm updating it, and of course recent news on established as well as up and coming bands. Be sure to tell me your comments on how I can improve this newsletter as well as my website.

Purpose of Matt's Music Page: In case anyone was wondering, I create my website for all the music fans around the world. About 3 or 4 years ago was my first attempt at it. It wasn't until last year that I started seeing a lot more people coming to my site. With more people, comes more incentive for me to update it. So that's exactly what I spent a lot of my summer doing. Currently I have something like 68 or 69 bands on my site. I hope to have a comprehensive source for anything you can think of for all your favorite bands.

Who is Matt anyway? In case you were wondering, I'm Matt. My website was created and is currently updating my lil' ol me. Just me actually. I don't have anyone to help me, so sorry if it takes me a while to update my site. I try my hardest, but to keep over 69 fan sites current is a tough task to do on my own. Anyway, I'm just you're average 18 year old guy who decided to make a website. Now my website is accessed by millions of people annually from all around the world. Pretty cool eh? Unlike other website creators, I actually answer all my email, so feel free to email me and tell me your comments.

Updating of my website: Currently, I am in the process of updating all the content of my website. I've finished adding lyrics to nearly every song of all the bands on my site. I'm almost done reorganizing them all so that they're easier to read. At the same time, I'm updating all the guitar tablature on my site. I've already finished adding bass tabs. A few minutes ago, I was adding tons more guitar tabs to my Beatles site. More will be coming over the next couple days. The next task will be to update all the pictures for all the bands. Once I'm done with all that, I hope to start adding the new bands I hope to create excellent fan sites for. It takes me anywhere from a few days to a week to add one band, so this isn't an easy task. Hopefully it will make everyone happier and more easily able to find tons of fun stuff on your favorite bands. If anyone knows of any places to get stuff I don't have or have any good ideas for new stuff, or a new design for my site, lemme know. I'm here for you guys and gals, so tell me what you're thinking.

Recent news on bands: Blink-182 are going on tour once again. This time it is the Civic Tour 2001. Eve 6 just finished creating their new video for the soon to be hit song "Here's To the Night." It's off their new cd. It's a really good song, so be sure to check it out and look for their new video coming soon. Duran Duran is going on tour for their new album "Pop Trash."
