The News:

•  Creed - Creed has been nominated for Top Pop/Rock Band and Top Alternative Artist in the 30th Annual American Music Awards. The show will be hosted by the Osbournes and will air next January 13th on ABC-TV. Creed have confirmed two concerts for this year's holiday season:

  12/29 - Allstate Arena - Chicago IL

  Tickets on sale 11/23

  12/31 - First Union Spectrum - Philadelphia PA

  Tickets on sale 11/23

•  Eminem - Eminem's "8 Mile" dropped to number 2 at the box office. More info at CDNOW's Allstar news.
